YOGA OVERVIEW

It doesn't matter if you this is your first exposure to yoga or if you are a seasoned yogini, we offer a variety of classes to provide you with the level of ease or challenge that you are looking for. If you are beginning your yoga practice, please read through "Student Info" section of this website and consult with the Joyful Yoga staff to decide which classes will best suit your personal needs. Because Yoga is a practice, not a "perfect," our classes may be entered at any time during the year. You are welcome to observe any classes before joining in!

Throughout the different levels, emphasis is placed on correct breathing, staying present in the moment, and practicing the various asanas (poses). Our certified yoga instructors demonstrate and assist students in using different variations of the poses, incorporate various yoga props to prevent injury, and provide background information on the Ayurvedic science to help students to further improve their lifestyles outside of the yoga studio.
