Who is Teacher Training for??
Teacher Training is for anyone who wants to gain a deeper understanding about their own yoga and meditation practice, even if they don't plan to teach it. It is also for those individuals who would like to teach yoga as a sideline or main career.

What is the Yoga Alliance?
The Yoga Alliance is the organization that accredits, monitors, and certifies Yoga schools which uphold their internationally recognized standards of training, experience and ongoing professional development that protect the health and wellness of society. As a Yoga Alliance registered school, Joyful Yoga is a part of the the community of over 21,000 Registered Yoga teacher and schools that educate millions about the power and benefits of yoga.

What is the difference between the two Registered Yoga Teacher programs that Joyful Yoga offers?

RYT 200 (Registered Yoga Teacher)

  • A yoga teacher with a minimum of 200 hours of yoga teacher training that meets Yoga Alliance standards.

  • A yoga teacher with a minimum of 500 hours of yoga teacher training, either:
    o   500 hours from the same school, or
    o   200 hours plus 300 hours of advanced training (training that requires participants to have a 200-Hour certification)
  • Can provide continuing education

What does Yoga Teacher Training cost? Do I have to pre-pay for it?
The tuition costs for Teacher Training are listed at the bottom of the Teacjer Training Overview page, as well as the three different options we have for payment.

What happens if I can't attend all of the sessions during the training?
You are able to make-up two missed sessions during the next Teacher Training series without additional fees. Unfortunately, we are unable to refund any money for missed sessions.
